My little sister is 10 years old and doesn't want to go on the websites i tell her that are appropriate for her age and she is always whining on how all her friends have myspaces and facebooks (which i think is crazy because I'm almost 21 and dont have either one )





JUST ANYWAY WHAT DO YOU THINK I SHOULD DO ABOUT MY SITUATION !?!?!?!?!?!?!!??!!??

How about asking her what she likes eg favourite singer show etc (Hopefully there geared to her age) and tell her to join their forumn and then she can meet people closer to her age. With my space and face book there are measure you can take to make it safer for that age group and have a age limit of how old the friends have to be and set the profile to private so she chooses the friends or they request and she has to approve of them before they can even see her page.She is so lucky to have a sister like you that cares so much about her but if its possible because I dont know your situation your parents should step in as it their responsibility . Talk to them tell them about your fears Good Luck.
Reply:I can understand in a way about my space and facebook. All the kids give different ages, it's ridiculous that my space doesn't verify anything. You can actually look at some of the kids and know they aren't 65!! I think it's a smart choice not to let her go on. 10 years old is young. Tell her the my space rules, she is underage. Worse case scenario, she get a myspace that you have to be on her list or a friend/password. She doesn't need to grow up that quick. Good for you!





And tell her NO is NO!
Reply:it is up to your parents really.. unless you have legal documents about her saying shes practically yours because your parents are deceased but i say wait until she is 13 i am 13 and just got one and i think its very boring i mean its dumb leave comments on ur friends page isnt as fun as hanging out tell her to go out with her friends and have fun. i dont know what websites a 10 yr old girl would like cuz im a guy
